Our Software & Implementation Services

We offer a variety of ways to help you implement software.

Do it yourself with our Training or Audit & Advise services. Or ask to run the whole process for you. Once you are live we can continue to support you ad-hoc Audit & Advise or as your in-house team via Support & Maintenance. We’ve detailed the offerings here and included some workflows below.

  • Whether or not you want to work with us directly, we have created a set of videos about Project Management, Productivity and Operations Management software. We show you how they work and compare them - so that you can choose the right solution for you.

    By buying the “Choose Your Software” videos package you have access to all the videos (including any new ones that are added over time). We want to empower you to decide which is best for you and to help you keep on top of new options as they come out.

  • If you are confident with technology, you can absolutely do it yourself -  we are here if you would like some support.

    1) we can offer you training – in person or you can purchase from our courses page. “Train the Trainer” teaches you about the software and gives examples of how to implement it.

    2) if you are mid implementation and have questions, or just want someone as a sounding board, we have our “Audit & Advise” service.

    Over time you can stick with the “Audit & Advise” service – call us whenever you need something.  Or you may wish to use our “Support & Maintenance” service – you become our customer, and we become part of your team.

  • Why ask us to do it?  It saves you time and effort.  We love implementing the software – you love working on your business.  Running the project and having time to set up software can be time consuming – we can do it for you.

    We implement the software in phases (Agile), making it cost effective for you.  Depending on how complex your requirement is (and which software we are looking at) the initial set up shouldn’t take more than a 1 – 3 days. 

    If you need more later – let us know and we will add your new requirements.

    If there are developments in the software which could benefit your implementation, we will contact you and let you know.

    NB training is included in this option.

  • If you’re not sure and just interested in the software, you can learn more with our “Choose Your Software” course.

  • Audit: if you have already implemented the software and want someone to look at it to advise on improvements and enhancements – we can audit your implementation.

    Advise: if you are implementing the software or a new feature and would like someone to use as a sounding board, this is the option for you.

  • We want to be your in-house support system.  We set up OptimEdge to give smaller companies the opportunity to have experienced and knowledgeable experts as part of their team, without the cost of a full time, expensive employee.

    After you have implemented the software we offer a Support & Maintenance subscription package – this means that you have someone who already knows you, your business and how your software is set up, and who can fix and advise when necessary.

    Unlike Audit & Advise, we have a regular relationship with you.

  • We offer training in various forms – choose which option suits you the best.

    Train the Trainer
    Use this option if you want to own and manage an implementation yourself.  We will spend a day with you training you on the software and discussing options for how best to implement the software for your needs.

    In person (or via Teams, Zoom or Google Meets).

    Train the Team
    If you have asked us to implement the software, we can also run sessions with your teams teaching them how to use your implementation.

    This is useful as part of Change Management (which really just means convincing people that they should do the new thing you want them to do!)

    Online Training
    In addition to articles and videos we put out periodically, we also have a number of video packages to take you set by step through the software, how and why to implement it.

What we offer when we implement for you

When we implement the software we advise on how best to use the technology for your business and train you. We then set it up and you can start using it. Once it is live we can then offer you either Support & Maintenance or Audit & Advise services.

We can also help with Change Management and training your team.

Do you want support if you are implementing yourself?

If you are implementing yourself you may still want some advice - book in some time, we would be happy to help. Use our Audit & Advise services. You can use this during and after your implementation.
